"Winter of 2018 till march 15 2019 my wife and I stayed at the Warming Center and enjoyed the shelter. The showers, the coffee and breakfasts, especially biscuits and gravy, and the difference having a good nights sleep and the all around good will and encouragement from the volunteers and staff definitely allowed us to thrive saving money. While we stayed at the Warming Center, we saved over $1,400 and found a room to rent at a house. We  eventually got our own place. My wife and I would like to say thank you for your kindness and dedication and all the work that enabled us to survive a very cold winter. If your Warming Center wasn't around for us, things could have gone a very different way for us. Thank you for your good grace and God bless you and all your family and friends."
